Mark Gross, our President and CEO, has an educational and industrial background that spans the fields of biology, chemistry and engineering. This includes wide ranging and varied functional roles in the development, manufacture and commercial uses of sodium hyaluronate, a key component of Biocoat's Hydak® coating system. With his expertise, passion, vision and resources, Mark founded Formacoat in 2002 to support Biocoat's business, capitalizing on his extensive hyaluronic acid and hydrophilic coatings experience in the medical device world.
Today, Mark is intent on sustainable growth and an unquestioned commitment to regulatory compliance through a state-of-the-art quality management system and class 10,000 clean rooms. He continues to drive Formacoat toward excellence in serving customer lubricious coating needs and the enjoyment of creating win-win relationships in the process.
